The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has requested a 45-day extension to the review period for the proposed CME Credit Index Event contracts.  As a result, CME is announcing a delay in the launch of these products from the originally announced Sunday, May 6, 2007 start date.

CME will announce a new launch date as soon as it is selected, which will be no earlier than Tuesday, June 5, 2007.
